Founded in 2016, Studio Mercy is built on the belief that design is a way to connect and inspire - a way to tell stories and ultimately elevate everyday experiences. With a playful yet focused approach, the studio delivers distinctive creative work across interior design, styling, curation, and creative direction.
We believe interiors should express personality, evoke emotion, invite people to feel at home and be inspired in their surroundings. Ultimately, we believe that better design enables people to live better.
Amie Mercer
Founder and creative director of Studio Mercy, Amie has a fluid blend of intuition and intention. Her background in branding gives her a deep understanding of storytelling through detail - creating interiors that evoke feeling, tell stories, and foster connection.
Her collaborative work has been featured in Elle Decoration and recognised by international design awards, including the AHEAD Awards. Her style mixes eras, textures, and form - often incorporating carefully sourced vintage pieces to bring depth and character into every space.
For Amie, design is about more than aesthetics - it’s about energy, emotion, and the way spaces shape how we feel and live.
The Studio
We are a multidisciplinary team of designers, stylists and creatives working across a global portfolio of projects - from high-end residential to hospitality and wellness. Each team member brings their own perspective and expertise, adding depth and distinction to every space we shape.
Our studio culture is rooted in curiosity, individuality, and a deep respect for design and craft. We believe in collaboration, especially with our clients, whom we guide through concept, design, and implementation. We always try to seek out local craftsmanship and are committed to sustainable sourcing.
